Hi

You will typically get that error if the home directory of the person maildrop is trying to deliver to is world writable. You will get a similar error if .mailfilter in that person's home directory has any world permissions what so ever.

The permissions on the user's home directory (/home/simondrain) are rwxr-x---. The permissions on the user's mail directory (/home/simondrain/Maildir) are the same. There is no .mailfilterfile. Yet I'm still getting the same error message. Are there any other directories or files I should be looking at?

Cheers,
Simon
