Hmm, there is nothing in my imapd configuration file refering to 
TRASHFOLDERNAME.  Am I right in assuming that this was introduced after 
version 1.4.3?

And before you ask why I still use such an old version: 1.4.3 is the version 
included in the current stable release of Debian.  Since I want optimal 
security update support, I chose to stay with Debian stable.

Since fixing the naming of the trash folder has not such a high priority, I 
may just wait until the Debian project releases its next stable OS version 
which shouldn't take too long now, and configure TRASHFOLDERNAME then.
