hello,

i can't get my virtual domain working with courier.

let's say 'domain.com' is in the 'me' file, and 'hosteddomain.com'
is the virtual domain i would like to set up, with all the mail going
to the user '[EMAIL PROTECTED]', such that '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'
can be handled by whatever .courier-webmaster in joe's home directory
specifies.

that's what i did:

- added [EMAIL PROTECTED] to the userdb
   (the values of uid, gid and home the same as for the user joe)
- added
   @hosteddomain.com: joe
   to the list of aliases

If @hosteddomain.com: joe is in the alias file, [EMAIL PROTECTED] gets rewritten as joe-webmaster, so the userdb entry is unnecessary.

interestingly, when changing the user's name from
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' to 'webmaster', mail to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] is delivered to the user joe, but
the .courier-webmaster file in joe's home is ignored.

Verify that joe's home directory, as defined in your account database, is what you think it is.
