Courier Users,

I am running an older OpenBSD 3.2 server (unable to upgrade at this
time). I am trying to get the newer Courier Authlib compiled and
running for use by the newer version of the Courier Imap server.

I tried this with version 0.53. I received an Undefined symbol
error as follows:

  /usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "_md5_context_restore" in
authdaemond:/usr/lib/libcourierauthcommon.so.0.0

I upgraded to version 0.54, and received the same error:

calvin:courier-authlib {145} file authdaemond
authdaemond: OpenBSD/i386 demand paged dynamically linked executable not
stripped
calvin:courier-authlib {146} ./authdaemond
/usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "_md5_context_restore" in
authdaemond:/usr/lib/libcourierauthcommon.so.0.0

I could try the snapshot, but the change log does not indicate
anything regarding this error.

I have googled this problem and have found nothing that
appears to help.

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have
to lead me in the right direction.

Thank you.
