I read an older post stating that I could add the flag "-uesr=vmail" to TCPDOPTS.
So in imapd i have: TCPDOPTS="-nodnslookup -noidentlookup -user=vmail" AUTHMODULES="authdaemon" I am using authdaemon to authenticate using authmysql. While everything worked before adding "-user=vmail", after adding it I had authentication problems. What do I need to change to the authdaemon config so it will run?
