"pepe" does not look like an encrypted password.

Your authmysqlrc file indicates that you're also using plaintext passwords, but the relevant configuration setting has an extra whitespace that effectively disables it.

You need to figure out whether you want to use plaintext or encrypted passwords, set up the database accordingly, and fix authmysqlrc.

This may not be the only problem with your configuration. You should carefully read the description of every setting in authmysqlrc, and verify that it is properly initialized.
