Hi,

Firstly, I appologise if this has been asked before. google doesn't
bring much info, and I am currently unable to search the archives.

I have been using courier for quite a while, and emails to several
addresses have just started generating this error as a bounce:

                           UNDELIVERABLE MAIL

Your message to the following recipients cannot be delivered:

<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
     mail.jdsecurity.com.au [202.154.115.248]:
 >>> >>> STARTTLS
<<< 500 5.3.3 Unrecognized command

Nothing has changed at our courier end, but there is an error in the log
file for the same IP address which says :

Jun 22 11:15:01 ver-arc-ms1 courieresmtpd:
error,relay=::ffff:202.154.98.58,msg="502 ESMTP command error",cmd: XXXX
redhotpie.com.au Jun 22 11:15:11 ver-arc-ms1 courierd:
newmsg,id=0002EFE5.4499EF1D.000032BE: dns; redhotpie.com.au (softdnserr
[::ffff:202.154.98.58])

As nothing has changed at our end, what could the receiver end be trying
to do that courier doesn't like?

thanks, gb
