Sam got it, the messages are already there.
Unfortunately, most downtimes aren't plannable. :)

I don't want to hear if it is a good idea in your opinion. In my opinion, in 
my situation, it is a good idea.
So there is no clean way?

Do I have to tell courier about changes in control-files? courier restart 
should be enough, is it?
