I've been trying to set up some spam and AV mail filtering on a
server-based courier installation and am running into a small problem
with testing. Putting the "logfile" directive in my personal
~/.mailfilter file doesn't log any per-message data, although if I
specify an environment variable in a "log" directive (e.g. "log $HOME")
then this gets logged. The same goes for putting these directives in my
global /etc/courier/maildroprc file, although if I do this, emails to
addresses other than my own get fully logged.

Does anyone have any idea what might be happening here? Why can I not
log messages to my personal account (sent from a 3rd party system) but
mail to other addresses on the system get fully logged?
