Hello, im running courier with the following setup:
* authpam * all domains in smtpacceptmailfor.dir * all domains in hosteddomains * locals = empty Creating unix accounts ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) with a Maildir et all works like a charm. I can alias non-existent accounts to existing local accounts (eg [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]). However, I can't create aliases to Mailboxes without a local user, or pipe-programs (such as mailman requires). Alias in aliases/system: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: |/path/to/mailman owner mailman However, sending mail to mailman-owner results in 550 user unknown. No usable output appears in syslog. I tried putting "lists.swordcoast.net" in locals, tried removing it from hosteddomains, tried the alias without @domain, to no avail. Whats going on? Regards, Bernhard
