Hi, I have a customer who wants to migrate his email system from MS Exchange to a linux-based system. Since I'm already running Courier for my own company, I figured that is what I would offer.
Does any one out there have any experience, ideas, or suggestions for how to extract the messages from the existing Exchange system and store them in Maildirs for courier to access? I think there are a couple of commercial applications which might do the trick (GFI MailArchiver, maybe?) As I understand it, the customer doesn't use the bells and whistles of Exchange, just the SMTP and POP3 bits, so all I really need is to be able to mirror the existing messages up to the point that I switch DNS and MX records to point at the linux server...
