Because its turned off by default and can be enabled in /usr/lib/courier/etc/ldapaliasrc. I have enabled this but the entries in the webadmin gui are still disabled. The processes are running: daemon 22423 0.0 0.1 636 1272 ?? I 6:28PM 0:00.05 /usr/lib/courier/sbin/courierldapaliasd start (courierldapalias) ...and I have rebooted since just to ensure all daemons are running. It is likely that I have misunderstood something (knowing nearly zilch about email server configuration... I only heard about qmail last week...). I had envisioned that all Email addresses and where these are stored would be in LDAP (or something similar) and that the server would not have any *real* users in the /etc/passwd. I think I have misunderstood. I shall go away and read the docs again because its not making any sense because I at present I cannot even add a user to the courier setup! (I looked for a programme that might do this & found nothing likely in /usr/lib/courier/bin) :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ courier-users mailing list [email protected] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
