Hi all, My courier-mta is giving an DNS error and then I think rejecting the Email because of this:

Jul 9 00:57:24 courier courieresmtpd: error,relay=::ffff:67.214.175.75,msg="502 ESMTP command error",cmd: RCPT TO:<[email protected]> Jul 9 00:57:32 courier courieresmtpd: error,relay=::ffff:67.214.175.75,msg="502 ESMTP command error",cmd: DATA Jul 9 00:57:48 courier courieresmtpd: error,relay=::ffff:67.214.175.75,msg="502 ESMTP command error",cmd: SUBJECT: DNSEXIT Email Test However, DNS works fine on the system: # cat /etc/resolv.conf lookup file bind nameserver 127.0.0.1 # dnsqr a dnsexit.com 1 dnsexit.com: 45 bytes, 1+1+0+0 records, response, noerror query: 1 dnsexit.com answer: dnsexit.com 600 A 67.214.175.75 # dnsmx dnsexit.com 1 mail.dnsexit.com 2 mail2.dnsexit.com Unforntunatly textmxlookup fails. # testmxlookup dnsexit.com Soft error. I could not find on Google any reference to this message, http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=textmxlookup+soft+error&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 Is there a setting in Courier that tells it where to look for a DNS server? (localhost in this case).
