   You are referring to the ARCHIVEDIR setting in the courierd configuration
   file. There's some documentation there to read.




Thanks Sam. Got the documentation in the config file..... probably not what I was looking for but worth finding again.


Think I'll work on something based on dnotify to watch the .sent maildir and replicate newly created files into the shadow .sent maildir. Is there anything else I need to modify in the shadow .sent, is there a message index that needs to be updated, or will dropping a message file in there just "do the business"?

If you want to drop a file into the .sent directly you just need to follow the usual convention for adding a file to a maildir: write it to a file in tmp first, then rename it to new (or cur).

Do not open and write to the file in the cur or the new directory, directly.
