<blush> Must be because I was writing it at Citizen Space coworking, during the Media Makers meeting, surrounded by conversation among a bunch of smart, engaged folks related to restarting the group and identifying and prioritizing the next steps, potential allies, and creative approaches to offering unique value to members and the greater community; I was surprised at the level of interest there in my offhand hi-sorry-I'm-late remarks about the Green Building meeting I was just come from and the Cohousing work I do wearing one of my other hats (and which I had my elevator-pitch down on because I had just Twittered about it). It brought me right back into focus on lessons learned with BMUG and other groups and clients over the decades. Never underestimate the concentrating powers of distraction by collective intelligence. Isn't that what coworking, at its best, is all about?
