Hello, I joined this group yesterday. I am organizing and helping others organize various math-rich events and groups, such as math clubs. I work a lot with homeschoolers, who are networked well, and used to shared spaces. We are usually doing very well with small, tight groups and their small projects, using group member homes. However, when groups start to evolve beyond that level, or when several groups want to do joint events, the time, energy and money costs of acquiring space become too much for many. Also, long-term groups can put a lot of strain on the hosts. Churches and libraries, while providing some meeting opportunities, have their limitations, as well.
I would like to explore possible connections between homeschooling networks and coworking networks, and learn from experiences members of the Coworking community. -- Cheers, MariaD Make math your own, to make your own math. http://www.naturalmath.com social math site http://www.phenixsolutions.com empowering our innovations --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
