Hi all,
A few of us around Manchester, NH are putting together a space. We are
setting ourselves up as both a co-working space and an organization. We
plan to do PR for our tenants and the New Hampshire high-tech community at
large.

I was wondering if any co-working facilities had good success networking
with political bodies and other organizations for sponsorship and support?
Who did you approach, and how did you approach them? We have a lot of
connections with different businesses, organizations and some politicians,
but have never asked them for money before. What approaches worked, didn't
work, and what was your compelling argument?

Our current thought is to do a launch party and get a lot of our potential
supporters and tenants in the same room at the same time to generate
excitement. Has that worked for anyone?
