Dan Ramaekers here!

As a current student at Arizona State University I find it both
exciting and very rewarding to soak up all the information that I
can. It goes without saying that there is a never ending spring of
knowledge in the universe and a person can never learn too much.

I am majoring in biology with plans of attending medical school. My
ultimate career goal is to own my own practice and make an impact on
the lives of the people in this community.

While my schooling focuses primarily on the sciences I desire to do
all I can to know and understand better the needs and requirements of
running a personal business. In my research I have stumbled upon the
principles of coworking. Since I desire so much to surround myself
with like-minded individuals with a passion for success and
creativity, coworking immediately peaked my interest.

On a more personal note, I am married to my best friend and teammate,
Chelsea. We recently found out we will be proud parents come this
March. I feel so many different emotions following that statement,
the principal of which is a responsibility to provide. I say Chelsea
is my teammate because she not only works enthusiastically to pay the
bills and college tuition but also supports me 100% in my endeavors.
We joke by saying she owes me for paying to get her through school.
Chelsea works as an RN at Scottsdale Healthcare, where she has a
chance to provide assistance to many people within our community.

While Chelsea was schooling full-time, I managed a sales team at Bally
Total Fitness. I learned a great deal about corporate business and
the value of teamwork during my 3 years with Bally. It was there that
I first learned the importance of networking. Every person has
talents and skills and it has been my experience that those who are
most successful associate with as many different people as possible.

I want the opportunity to share in the ideas of those so many talented
and skilled people in this world. I feel that by participating in a
movement like this we can diligently work to improve the economy of
this nation. I do not believe in hand outs. The struggles we face as
a nation require hard work, that’s for sure, but we cannot do it on
our own. We need to join together to increase creativity, solve
problems, and spark ideas with the ultimate goal of improving the
lives of the great people of this nation.

Any advice that you seasoned veterans can provide with respect to
beginning a coworking environment would be much appreciated.
