This is in the very beginning stages, but I think that Minneapolis/St Paul has a great pull for a co-working space.
I would like to get something in the eastern suburbs, around 2000 square feet. I'd like to offer the basics like internet access, desks, chairs, awesome lighting and decor as well as the kitchen with coffee and tea, a chill space with TV and couch, conferences rooms, and secured storage for the co-workers. I want to add additional benefits to higher paid members like permanent desk, telephone through magicjack or some other voip, events and sponsorships, as well as community benefits like insurance, office supplies, and other things that get discounts in volume that everyone can use and needs. I am just in the beginning stage so all comments and help are appreciated. I am not sure on my costs, yet, and working on that as well as office space, permits, and legal issues as well as marketing to small business groups and several freelancers in the twin cities. My primary goal would be to have 20 desks total, some permanent and some drop is, as well as 2-3 offices that would be for rent on a permanent basis. The future would bring in a child care service, shredding service, and other amenities as co-workers asked for them. Any advice and help from people who already have co-working space is greatly appreciated. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
