Hello guys! I have been following the discussions in this group the last weeks after my girlfriend and I decided to design the model of a coworking place here in Zagreb. Around one year ago we thought about the idea but it is now that we feel is time to do it. I would like to collaborate in this group in the future since I found its information very useful
We are preparing an informative video, gathering the material for the website and defining the business model. we think it is possible to start with a core base of 5-7 people, whose ideas will contribute to build the space together. As many other places out there our idea started with the need of an inspirational space for young entrepreneurs and freelancers who carry a monthly burden of high rent and services cost or tired of working at home and/or in noisy coffe shops with bad internet connection. However I would like to ask you if some of you are managing the coworking places and at the same time have your own venture within the walls of the space. I'm curious about the time is needed to run the place and eventually having time to start and run a business getting advantage of the coworking place. I imagine the necessary effort is needed to run a place and it's clear to us that our main objective is to create a place with great atmosphere providing high quality services. On the other hand this is the best opportunity to provide us with a working space and doing so being part of the community. I would appreciate any comments about it.
