First lesson: Be careful with your marketing, because it can get away from you.
Earlier this week, I put up the http://nerdfort.com site while I continued to build out the small physical space I have. (520 sq. ft., eight or nine desks, small conference room.) On Sunday, it got discovered by Hacker News and Reddit, and garnered nearly 200 comments, most of them encouraging. Better, it's resulted in half a dozen e-mails from people who are interested in coming by. Nerd Fort is not-for-profit, in that I'm just hoping to have a community to hang out with while I work on my real business, but I honestly didn't expect this. Second lesson: If you're marketing to nerds, include zombie references. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Coworking" group.
