I'm curious what other data plans work for people who travel heavily (and need high speed internet while in between coworking facilities). Today I traded in two Verizon data plans for the new 4G USB stick, along with the portable Cradlepoint router (http://www.cradlepoint.com/products/wireless-n-portable-router-ctr35).
Some speed tests I did inside my house here in SoCal …with the USB card in the laptop (1/2 Mbps download): http://www.speedtest.net/result/1184969436.png …with the USB attached to the router (8 Mbps download): http://www.speedtest.net/result/1184977967.png (My plan is 10 GB/mo for $80, and the card costs $100 [$99 at Best Buy or $150 at Verizon Store with $50 rebate]. I use this for the bulk of my data and use my Droid-based Galaxy Tab for quick hotspot stuff.) -- Also on LinkedIn?
