As Xpat #1 (the first member to sign up at OfficeXpats<http://officexpats.com>) it's an honor and a pleasure to welcome Leslie and Jason to this community.
All: If you're in the Seattle area and want a change of pace, I highly recommend you pop over and cowork for a day at OfficeXpats. The 3,500 square foot space is gorgeous, and it's just a short walk from the Bainbridge-Seattle ferry (35 minutes from downtown Seattle). It has all the amenities -- wifi, fax/copy, coffee/tea, ~25 desks, couches, 3 conference rooms, a larger event room, an outdoor balcony seating area, a phone booth/nap room, and a foosball table. There are great restaurants, a print shop, a gym, and a movie theater in the same building. And most importantly, there's a small, but fast-growing crew of us regular members. I was thrilled when I first learned, about 6 months ago, that OfficeXpats was opening up here. It's just 2 blocks from my house, half-way between home and my son's kindergarten. After 3 years working remotely for Zanby<http://zanby.com>, I've been itching to get out of the house and meet other entrepreneurs, freelancers and remote workers in my community. It's early days, yet.
