A surprising number of our members are anti-PayPal, so if you must have a PayPal account to do the check-in, then this would not work for us.
We use the pfSense/Nexudus api for wifi check-in, although I'll bet the paypal system will be easier to setup. We do have a generic payment page ( http://www.ptcolab.com/payments) that allows people to setup monthly payments, and make one-time payments.
