I talked to them well a year ago about something like this. They were starting a neighborhood ambassador program where people would be directed to the local coffee shop where they could learn the lay of the land from the proprietors. I suggested that a coworking space could serve this purpose too, but the comment I got was that they wanted to drive people to coffee shops because they'd get a chance to buy local products (like, Airbnb would help place local makers in cafes). I said, 'huh'?
