Dear all, This is a quick reminder of British Rowing's guidance on rowing during/shortly after thunder.
From: https://www.britishrowing.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Row-Safe-April-2019-Chp-9.pdf "Club Officers are expected to: 1. - Adopt the 30:30 rule on lightning." The short version is that if the interval between flash and rumble is less than 30 seconds (it currently is), then outings should be abandoned, and should not resume until 30 minutes after the last thunder clap. Also, it's really wet out! Isabel
