Hi,

I have a failed test report at:

http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.cpan.testers/2008/01/msg1003477.html

which simply says:

"Per Adam K's comment in http://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=32789,
it seems that this is a bug in the Makefile.PL of DBD::ODBC because it
doesn't look in the standard place for DBIXS.h."

I understand the comment and ticket 32789 (although I have not reproduced it as it works fine for me and the reporter does not answer any posts to the ticket he placed in DBD::ODBC http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=32811). What I don't understand is how this failed test report ended in DBD::ODBC with no accompanying evidence. How does a failed test get reported without any evidence of the failure?

BTW, I have not cc'ed cpan-testers per the email from David Cantrell to this list suggesting no-one will be reading cpan-testers even though I note the test failure report says:

"Please cc any replies to [EMAIL PROTECTED] to keep other
test volunteers informed and to prevent any duplicate effort."

Thanks.

Martin
