Hi,

I've been watching my automated CPAN smokers recently and observed XML::Feed is
causing some problems.

Notably the Module::AutoInstall shipped with XML-Feed is old and broken. It
attempts to use CPAN to install
prereqs even if the calling framework is CPANPLUS.

As my perl-5.10.0 based smokers do not have CPAN configured an hour of smoking
time is lost every time XML-Feed is
required by other modules, as it goes into a spin-loop trying to configure CPAN.

Could you please either abandon Module::AutoInstall as per Adam Kennedy's
suggestion in ticket #20575 or
punt a new release with an updated Module::Install that will do the right
thing[tm].

Until I see a new release I will have to exclude XML::Feed from my smokers.

Many thanks in advance,
