Yes - the user level software is GNU software, so it is the same (or
very similar) to that found on GNU/Linux. I would say that KFreeBSD,
like GNU/Linux, but with a FreeBSD kernel rather than a Linux one.
Calling it 'kfreebsd' would be less cumbersome than 'gnukfreebsd', even
though the latter is more correct. If it's called gnufreeksd, then
linux should be replaced with gnulinux to be consistent (and there is an
argument to make that change.
