hi,

looking at two test reports:
one using CPANPLUS
http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/8396ba36-65c0-11e1-9d6f-f6dbfa7543f5
and
one using CPAN::Reporter
http://www.cpantesters.org/cpan/report/cf758f1a-58a3-11e1-b43c-5b389aeef8c6

there are a number of differences in the list of prerequisites.

1) different order of module names (ABC vs ASCII)
2) different grouping of modules
3) the title of the columns being different
    Have/Want vs Need/Hab
and the order of the columns different.

Would it be possible to create a unified way of reporting
this information? I think it would make it easier to compare test reports.

Maybe there is (or could be) a stand alone module that would fetch the
information
and provide the output. That could be also used on the development
machine to create a similar report
of the environment.

And it could also parse its own report fetched from the e-mail and
then show the differences.

Is that such thing already available?

Gabor
