This should hopefully be fixed in 0.10, on CPAN now.
If anybody can offer an explanation of why Devel::Symdump thinks "0" is a package I'd love to hear it since, after taking a look at the module source, I can't see where it would be coming from.
(having already done several dumb things today I have a feeling that the answer will be depressingly obvious :-)
