Fails two of the tests:

[gellyfish@orpheus UUID]$ make test
PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1 /usr/local/bin/perl -Iblib/arch -Iblib/lib
-I/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i686-linux -I/usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1 test.pl
1..1
ok 1
ok 2
not ok 3
# Failed test 3 in test.pl at line 23
not ok 4
# Failed test 4 in test.pl at line 27
ok 5

This could well be the logic of the test rather than a failure in the
module itself - I didnt look that hard I'm afraid.

It would probably be nice if the tar.gz file was the result of 'make dist'
so it unpacks into 'Data-UUID-0.01' - you never know someone might want to
keep the old versions :)
