Makhleb is so much better for the "hp/mp for kills" slot than either
Vehumet or TSO. Concerns about "being too powerful" can be done with by
adjusting the numbers.

I imagine him as sitting on an enormous pile of skulls -- that kind of
theme. Chaos but with a sick purpose.
Trog on the other hand is a bar drunken brawl: rage but no hatred.
Fleshing out their theme could be great.

Sorry for using ##crawl-dev parliance. I meant decks of Destruction, which
currently deal inconsequential damage but frequently drain and/or torment
you instead. This leads to people being careful to not sacrifice any
weapons.
