Although I do not have Vista to test, I don't think Vim (and Cream) would have any issues. (Others report no issues.) As far as 7.1 and 7.2 being installed together, since the binaries are separate they should be able to function independently. However the file registrations, shortcuts, and registry pointers will only be able to use one or the other.
