Happy New Year Cream! Here's one for the suggestion box: have (un)comment ( (Shift)-[F6] ) use the comment style of the currently selected syntax highlight scheme if the current filetype is not recognized.
For example, Apache configuration files rarely end in .conf on the systems I use. I've learned I can turn on the correct syntax highlighting by way of [Settings > Filetype >...] but there doesn't appear to be a corresponding route for commenting. A related suggestion is to have frequently used file types float to the top. I generally use only 8 or so but there appear to be hundreds available. cheers, -- matt wilkie -------------------------------------------- Geomatics Analyst Information Management and Technology Yukon Department of Environment 10 Burns Road * Whitehorse, Yukon * Y1A 4Y9 867-667-8133 Tel * 867-393-7003 Fax http://environmentyukon.gov.yk.ca/geomatics/ -------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ cream-general mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/cream-general
