One of the principles I have come to live by with documentation is that
when there is a void of input into some highly needed area, there is
benefit from putting up some sort of poorly worded, inaccurate piece of
work that ends up being so disturbing to some better capable person that
they jump in and fix errors and inaccuracies.
The advantage that it gives this person is that they do not have to work
with a clean slate, which in many cases simplifies their job.
