Dear All,
Here examples for P189:
[40°31'17.9"N 21°15'48.3"E] /P189 approximates/ Kastoria, Greece, TGN
ID: 7010880. (coordinates from https://sws.geonames.org/735927)
(I could not find on the geonames site the coordinates of the square
that geonames shows for the city on the map display.)
[40°31'00.1"N 21°16'00.1"E] /P189 approximates /Kastoria, Greece, TGN
ID: 7010880. (coordinates from http://vocab.getty.edu/page/tgn/7010880)
I like the example of Kastoria, because the geometric centre is in the
lake..., see:
https://www.google.gr/maps/place/Kastoria+521+00/@40.5169248,21.2544023,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x1359fd49b138692d:0xc9133c5bc89d2683!8m2!3d40.5192691!4d21.2687171
But both centroids are rather at what may be regarded "city centre".
Further:
40°04'60.0"N 22°21'00.0"E /P189 approximates/ Mount Olympus National
Park, Greece (coordinates from https://www.geonames.org/6941814)
Best,
Martin
