Dear all,
There is a vote running about changing ICOM CIDOC's name. One option is
the current ICOM CIDOC and another is ICOM DOCUMENTATION. I am not sure
if SIG members had a chance to discuss this (and apologies if I missed
it), but CIDOC-CRM and CIDOC-CRM-SIG is part of the identity of the
document and our group respectively.
I suppose we do not have to change these names even CIDOC changes to
DOCUMENTATION, but DOCUMENTATION-CRM and DOCUMENTATION-CRM-SIG does not
really work. Using a word describing an activity to refer to a group of
people?
