Hi David,

please dont confuse me :-). We had an extensive discussion back at the
beginning of the year, that Riena does not run on top of Eclipse 4.x. It only
runs on top of 3.8.

Thats a deal breaker for participating in Juno since e4 support is a
requirement for Juno participation.

The discussion was going forth and back and I think you made the suggestion
that Riena would deliver their own repo but dont aggregate into the composite
repo. So thats what we do since then. We also didnt aggregate M6 and M7 I
believe.

BTW the platform dependent bundle bundles that we used to deliver in our p2
repo and create a lot of problems in the past are all gone.

Still we dont run yet on e4. (We are currently building that ability in a
branch and are making good progress but its not ready and it will not be
finished in the Juno time frame. But there is hope for the future :-) )

Hope that clears it up……

christian

p.s. Riena RC1 is finished since monday (http://www.eclipse.org/riena/)

Betreff: [cross-project-issues-dev] Juno RC1 staging repository is complete

Thanks to all the last minute fixes and getting a clean build. I've disabled
the aggregation build and assume we are ready for RC1, unless someone comes up
with a blocking problem that justifies a respin.

My main concern is that there are still two projects still disabled:

amp.b3aggrcon
riena.b3aggrcon

Riena I'm not worried about, I know they sort of "come and go" as are sensitive
to exact platform version, so assuming this was an oversight or busy week for
the Riena team and they are basically ok and will be back in for RC2.

Amp, on the other hand, has been disabled for nearly all of Juno, and its
update site in the b3aggrcon file still points to a software repository named
"indigo_b3" which sounds old.

I think maybe Amp has "dropped out" of Juno, and I have just missed that. The
contact listed in file is Mile Parker. If I don't here from him soon, here on
this list, or hear from the Modeling PMC, I'll assume they've withdrawn and
remove the contribution file before RC2.

Thanks all,
