Hi,

I want to prepare the final GEF 3.8 release by promoting it to our releases
update-site (mainly because I have recently built-in support for p2.mirrorsURL
in our promotion script and I want to test it thoroughly). While I can hide all
the drop files of the release (by masking them out with a hidden.txt) there is
just have a single releases update-site (we do not maintain one per release),
so I see no chance in hiding the release there, once I have mirrored it into?
So, how serious do we take the off-line preparation policy? Will it do any harm
if I publish the release (which is anyhow promoted as RC4 on the milestones
update-site) to the releases update-site in advance?

Cheers,
Alexander
