Dear Collegues,

You may already be using the Oomph preference recorder to record your personal Eclipse preferences and have them automatically applied to all the workspaces on your machine. In cooperation with the Eclipse Foundation, the Oomph project has extended the scope of the preference synchronization to support multiple machines. If you have more than one computer or a computer with virtual boxes you can easily maintain a common set of preferences. This extended preference synchronization support is implemented by storing your personal preferences on the Eclipse.org servers.

Before rolling this new feature out to the broader community we'd really appreciate your help with beta testing. If you're interested, please follow these instructions:

I wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Cheers
/Eike
