As in many other cases, "it depends" is probably the most accurate description. While I can only speak for the SimRel part, I assume that it is similar to EPP. If everything goes according to plan, it's "just clicking a few buttons". If something breaks (broken build, re-spin, etc) it can easily take hours and days to chase down the issue(s) and people.
