Tony,

This is intentional.  If RC2 is made visible in the composite then what will most  likely be the R version would be made visible now (today) instead of next Wednesday.

Also note that the epp composite is not generally updated until today in any case, but it too will not be updated until next Wednesday (at which point it changes from a composite to a simple repository with on the final release packages).

I’d think this was a cache problem, but I originally saw it in nexus and then downloaded and extracted the jars using my browser.
