I have put the workaround in CDT's N&N Release Notes<https://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/User/NewIn101#Release> and reproduced it here for reference: This can be resolved by either updating the Trace Compass Plug-ins in the install or removing the Trace Compass plug-ins if not used. To update the plug-ins do this: 1. From Window menu -> choose Preferences 2. navigate to Install/Update -> Available Software Sites 3. Press Add... 4. Name Tracecompass updates and Location https://download.eclipse.org/tracecompass/stable/repository/ 5. Press Add 6. Press Apply and Close 7. From Help menu -> Check for Updates and finish the wizard. 8. After restarting the Dark Mode will be fixed. Thanks and sorry for not catching this before the release.
