FYI,

It appears that any Windows *.exe or *.dll signed after 18.05.2022, i.e., after the expiration of this certificate

are still signed with that old expired certificate rather than with this new certificate

This was reported against the installer which is redistributed as an executable on Windows via this bug:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=580080

But it appears to be a general problem with the eclipse-winsigner-plugin signing service when signing a *.exe or a *.dll.

I've opened this issue to track the issue:

https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipsefdn/helpdesk/-/issues/1389

I'm not sure of all the affected libraries.  I think the platform is OK (the eclipse*.exe, the launcher *.dll, and SWT *.dll), but CDT is definitely affected too.

Regards,
Ed
