Hi, The Eclipse Foundation on behalf of the Eclipse IDE Working Group <https://eclipseide.org/> and its Development Effort Initiative (references below) is looking for a developer that is interested in entering into a service agreement to research how to modernize the approach to allow for secure installations of the Eclipse IDE, see issue #18 <https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse-wg/ide-wg/ide-wg-dev-funded-efforts/ide-wg-dev-funded-program-planning-council-top-issues/-/issues/18> for more information. - A short overview of your experience and participation in the supporting projects, - The proposed timeframe for the development effort, - A successful outcome will provide concrete recommendations (plan) on how to address at least issues and topics reference in issue #18 <https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse-wg/ide-wg/ide-wg-dev-funded-efforts/ide-wg-dev-funded-program-planning-council-top-issues/-/issues/18>, code patches where practical - An epic which is broken down into the individual issues across all the Eclipse projects* involved - Explicit list of deliverables, including any interim deliverables, - A proposed price, including whether the bid is being made on a fixed price or time and materials basis Please let me know by Monday, June 26th if you are interested in pursuing this opportunity.
