Hi Hannes

Thanks for the answer, unfortunately my investigations did not lead me to this
issue. I am testing now with the snapshot-version and can confirm it fixes the
issue.

Kind regards
Adrian

Hello Adrian,

this sounds like another manifestation of [1], which is already fixed on M2E's
current master.
Unfortunately the fix has missed SimRel's M1 deadline, but I'll update M2E's
contribution soon to ensure the fix will be in M2.
In the meantime you can try the M2E snapshots repository at [2], which contains
the fix.

Best Regards
Hannes

Hi everyone,

We experience an issue while testing the scout-package. Basically our
maven-projects are not imported correctly anymore, it seems there is a problem
with "org.eclipse.m2e.jdt.javaConfigurator" (warning in the problems-view):

Project configurator "org.eclipse.m2e.jdt.javaConfigurator" required by plugin
execution "org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-compiler-plugin:3.11.0:compile
(execution: default-compile, phase: compile)" is not available. To enable full
functionality, install the project configurator and run Maven->Update Project
Configuration.

When I try to "discover new m2e connectors" nothing is found:

No marketplace entries found to handle maven-compiler-plugin:3.11.0:compile in
Eclipse. Please see Help for more information.

I've also tested this with the java- and the committers-package (File -> New ->
Maven Project) on Linux- and Windows-Platform with the same results.. Has
anyone experienced similar behaviors? Could there be an issue with the upgrade
to Java 21?

Kind regards,
Adrian

Hi everyone,

Our next milestone build is available for testing: EPP 2024-06 M1

No special issues to report! But a reminder that Java 21 is now shipped with
EPP and EPP bundles themself require Java 21.

I have been following the steps on
https://github.com/eclipse-packaging/packages/labels/endgame - you can see the
checkmarks as to what is done.

Download link:
https://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/downloads/release/2024-06/M1/

EPP was built with the p2 repositories at:

https://download.eclipse.org/releases/2024-06/202404121000 and
https://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/2024-06/202404111000/

Please test and send your +1 to this mailing list. +1s are optional as the
package will be published anyway.

Last +1 received for each package and platform (apologies if I missed one of
your +1 emails, just let me know and I will update Last Recorded +1)

Ed did some basic smoke tests on all packages, below are the last reports from
package maintainers.
