Hi, Mike You're right. If the size is only 1MB, then the embedded flag doesn't take effect. I also try ARM version and the embedded mode doesn't work. It's very buggy now. You can track #541<https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-541> about the status to support the embedded mode. Currently I suggest to run crosswalk with the shared mode.
Yongsheng From: Crosswalk-dev [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kwan, Mike Sent: Monday, December 02, 2013 11:07 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Crosswalk-dev] Embedded Crosswalk project I am attempting to build an embedded version of a Crosswalk app. My command uses the example webpage provided by the template: python make_apk.py --package=com.abc.app --name=ABC --app-root=/Users/mike/Desktop/Crosswalk/example --app-local-path=src/index.html --mode=embedded Upon installing and launching on our Nexus 7 I get the message: 'Please install CrossWalk Runtime Library first.' Building without --mode=embedded and installing the runtime did allow the app to run properly. I suspect the embedded flag is being ignored since the generated APK is only 1MB in size. Am I missing a config flag?
