Hi Walton,

I don't have much experience in GC. AFAIK, you may tweak the size of new space
and old space to enlarge heap size by command line options:
--max_semi_space_size
--max_old_space_size
It might lower the GC frequency. However, V8 should configure the size of the
two spaces with reasonable value according to your device memory size.

BTW, did you try to use --trace_gc to profile your app?

Thanks,
-ningxin

Subject: [Crosswalk-help] Crosswalk Garbage Collection Strategy Question

Hi, I want to know whether its possible to lower the GC frequency in crosswalk.
When our app consume more than 30M memory, the GC frequency increases a lot,
which leads to lag and bad user experience.
But in fact the phone have enough memory, so is it possible to reduce the GC
frequency?? Maybe change some compiling parameter of crosswalk?

Thanks

Walton,Wang
