No.
Crosswalk uses the similar compositing mode used in Chrome for Android,
probably it has better performance in some cases.

Is there a way I can use the synchronous compositor on crosswalk? What was the
reasoning behind using the different mode?

Thanks,
Ryan

Android WebView uses synchronous compositor and its web contents rendering is

XWalkView uses a different compositing mode where the actual web contents are
rendering into SurfaceView/TextureView.

Subject: [Crosswalk-help] onDraw not called?

Hi all,

Does anyone know why the onDraw function is not called in the embedded
crosswalk view? More generally, I'm also interested in how the render pipeline
of crosswalk and the Android system webview differ.

Thanks,
Ryan
